This is our entry level product and is aimed at business who wish to make an initial auction offering online. Whilst the Medium Company Edition offers many great features, this version still provides the ability for an auctioneer to provide a real time system for their customers.

Whilst this package it hosted in a shared server it will still be able to deal with spikes in bidding activity and your users will able to access the latest bidding information without any degradation to the user experience. The auction software is optimised using our caching system and will still provide bidding updates in real time (at least every three seconds).

Our out of the box template will be adapted to match the colouring of your own brand. We will also add your logo to the website. This way it will look identifiable as you site to your customers. Whilst we take care of the running of the auction site, you will be free to manage and market your auction online, providing you with a greater reach than you may achieve by running auction locally.

The Small Company Edition auction system offers the following notable features:

• Real time user interface – bidding prices are updated in real time. The user does not have to refresh the page to see the change in the bidding.
• Bulk upload of lots to the back end.
• Ability to run auction event – these are groups of lots listed together a sale.
• Individual lot items – items can be added to the site to finish on an ad hoc basis.
• Limited to 50 concurrent users logged in to the system.

Contract outline

The contract will have three constituent parts. We look to agree a contract of up to three years with you.

Set up Fee

This will cover the licence fee and the set up of the auction software with your logo and colouring based upon our standard auction template.

Maintenance Contract

This element forms the basis of our ongoing relationship after we get you up and running. By agreeing a maintenance contract we remove the awkwardness that often surrounds the relationship between client and developer. From the outset we both know what the expectation of each other over the length of the contract. In this edition we look to agree an amount equivalent to 2 days support and developer time per month. We are happy to take a flexibly approach to how these days are used. You may want to bunch some of the days together to tackle a specific problem, or you may want to keep ongoing development to a defined monthly amount.

Shared Server Hosting

We offer a fully supported RAID configured server set up. This come with a Service Level Agreement and is fully supported and monitored in real time by our support team. The server is also kept fully up to date with the latest security patches. For this level of service your auction system will be put on a server configuration with other auction systems in a higher ratio than the Medium Server Edition.
