We are hiring!

We are looking for a Java Developer!

Position:

Java Programmer

Company Description:

Sensible Development is a small but growing company, based in Brighton’s North Laine, which specialises in developing scalable real time web applications. We are technology focused, innovative and look to provide good practical solutions for our clients. We are also a company which believe communication is paramount. We have recently developed an auction system on which one of our clients recently ran an auction that took 4,000 bids in its last 3 hours (an average of one bid every three seconds).

We have also recently built a prototype peer to peer betting application for another client, which again is a real time system, providing users with the ability to place bets on any subject they feel there is a market for. As well as developing client products we have also taken time to develop our product. This is an online football manager simulation, more specifically a strategy football manager game for the internet. This is a product that has a loyal user base and has allowed us to develop an in-depth knowledge of online communities, whilst allowing us to play with artificial intelligence engines.

We like to get involved in the offline Brighton technology community as well, having sponsored recent Brighton Girl Geek events and the entrepreneurial event the “£5 app”. If you wish to work in a friendly, collaborative, relaxed and creative environment then perhaps we are your man?
