We’ve had the pleasure of working on a number of wonderful fundraising auctions over the past few weeks. As well as working with Jamie Oliver’s Better Food Foundation to create their Big Chair Project Auction and Zoom to create the Formula 1 charity auction, we’ve also helped three other organisations…
Wild in Art this Wednesday launched their annual online auction. The organisation’s mission is to promote art and creativity amongst the public whilst raising money for charity. Wild in Art has raised an impressive £800, 000+ over the past 4 years for a variety of charities, from the Alzheimer’s Society to WWF. This year’s auction aims to raise funds for three organisations: Macmillan Haematology Suite Appeal at Northampton General Hospital , the Born Free Foundation and Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. Funds will be raised through the auctioning of 23 unique and quirky wildlife sculptures.
The website was created at short notice using our out-of-the-box auction product. Highly customised, the site almost seamlessly reflects the appearance and layout of the main Wild in Art website.
We have also been working with mental health charity Mind to create the Celebrity Suit Auction site. The auction, launching on 26th September, is the culmination of a special partnership between Mind and venerable fashion retailer Austin Reed. Their “Suit Swap” campaign, which began on 3rd September, allows people to bring in unwanted suits to any Mind or Austin Reed outlet. In return, donors receive a £50 voucher for Austin Reed.
The site is highly customised, with a striking visual layout highlighting the suits up for auction. The auction will feature suits donated by an interesting assortment of celebrities, from Nick Cave to Plan B. All funds raised will go towards Mind.
The Tring Park School fundraising online auction will come to a close in just two weeks time, on 2nd October. Tring Park School for the Performing Arts is dedicated to nurturing the talents of young people with a gift for dance, drama or music, whatever their means or background.
For this auction, we’ve customised our out-of-the-box product to match the basic branding of the main Tring Park website. The auction is a preview, allowing the school to promote the lots that will be up for auction at the main fundraising event held on 3rd October at the Tabernacle in Notting Hill. Participants in the online auction can bid on items prior to the live auction, with the highest bidders having an opportunity to win the item at the main event. The lots on offer include a VIP package for Manchester United football club, two tickets to Wimbledon and the use of a Jaguar XK sports car for a weekend
